Experience authentic Lolita shopping with Angelic Pretty’s Magical Boutique, brought by designers Maki and Asuka exclusively for PMX.
- Room: Santa Monica A
- Hours: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, Friday through Sunday (Note: Hours subject to change. The Boutique will be closed during other Lolita events. Friday morning shopping is reserved for pre-registered members only.)
- Store Policy: Please read the Magical Boutique rules and policies before shopping.
Angelic Pretty will replenish their stock throughout the convention. Stop by later in the weekend to see if you missed something!
Magical Boutique Rules:
- Please do not ask for autographs.
- Merchant services (or bulk purchasing for resale) are not allowed. Please understand, the purpose of the store is to give as many PMX attendees as possible an authentic shopping experience and the chance to own Angelic Pretty brand of their very own -- not to provide free shipping services. Profiteering from this event will be heavily frowned upon.
- No photography or filming of any type is allowed in the Boutique; this is a common policy in Japan, and Security will be on hand to check your devices at the door. Please consider storing them in your hotel room or car to avoid delays entering and leaving the Boutique.
- Please limit the subject of your questions to your current purchase, so that Angelic Pretty staff are better able to help everyone. All English inquiries should be directed to Cosplay Oneesan interpreters on duty. Questions pertaining to other topics should be saved for the Focus Panel.
- No food or drink is allowed in the boutique.
- All purchases are CASH ONLY. An ATM is available in the LAX Hilton lobby. Map of nearby money sources
- For simplicity and speedy checkout, all prices will include the effective local sales tax which is 8.25%. The price you see is the price you pay.
- All sales are final.
- Angelic Pretty and Cosplay Oneesan reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
Boutique Appointment System:
The maximum number of guests in the Boutique at one time is 10 due to the size of the store. Guests will have approximately 30 minutes to try on items and make their purchases. Then the boutique will be cleared out so the next set of appointment holders may enter.
If a large line starts to form outside the Magical Boutique, Cosplay Oneesan will hold a lottery drawing to give out appointments later that same day, which will then be handled much like a restaurant. Each group of lottery winners will be assigned to the next 30 minute shopping appointment until everyone has one (or the rest of the day is completely booked). Shoppers who do not arrive in time for their appointment will forfeit their time slot to the next attendee on the schedule.
In the event that the appointment system must be used, we ask that you bring only your significant other (or parent/guardian if you are a minor) into the store with you, and that you be doing most/all of the shopping. Please help us preserve the intimate atmosphere of the store and allow everyone a chance to shop.
Please note that "camping" outside of the Boutique is strongly discouraged because of fire safety regulations. We hope the appointment system allows you more time to enjoy the rest of the convention, while still maintaining a personalized time slot for you to enjoy shopping at the Magical Boutique!
Fitting Room Policy:
There are only two fitting rooms available. You may take up to three (3) items into each fitting room session. Please be prompt as there may be others waiting.
